A truly rare record that I present to you with this video: "Polish Medieval Music for Voices and Instruments", year of recording 1968. The repertoire presented is all sacred and among the various anonymous compositions we have four whose authors we know. They are Mikołaj z Radomia, a musician at the court of Władysław Jagiełło and Władysław of Gielniów, a Polish Franciscan friar. Born 6 May 1930 in Ostrowczyk, he is a polish conductor and musicologist, co-organiser and first artistic director of Capella Bydgostiensis in 1961-1970, co-founder and for many years director of the Capella Cracoviensis orchestra and the Music in Old Kraków festival.
