Archbishop Lefebvre & The SSPX - The Maccabees Connection
A brief overview of the parallels between the figures of Mathathias and his sons in the book of Maccabees, and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the Society of St Pius X.
The events of Vatican II and the crisis in the Church are foreshadowed I believe very clearly in Maccabees.
It helps to have a bit of understanding about Biblical typology to appreciate the similarities.
