Tried to make this a short but YT police were pulling me over on the soundtrack. At face value this video and going to Mass each week may seem like a quaint hobby for the middle classes. Lovely, some may say, but Ive got the grind of real life to get on with. I say what you're looking at is the fight to survive. To make a future. It's starts early on a Sunday morning. It makes a demand. Both parents at mass, the sight of many children, a sermon the may cause indigestion. Presenting yourself to the immediate community. It's keeps you accountable without ever anyone having to speak. Bending the knee to something bigger than you, keeps you humble. This is where things that really matter, happen. You roll with the blows, you rest on the ropes, maybe you're on the attack but whatever you do, you don't get out of the ring. Outside the ring standards drop, hearts are turned, innocence gives way to corruption. It's a pride in us to think I have the wares to make it on my own.
